Private chalet "UTSIKTEN" - Kamben, Golsfjellet, Hallingdal

The chalet is on long term contractfor this years, 2010.

Very good location at 975 masl with a road to the entrance. The chalet lies open and free with a fantastic view to south and east, and short ditance to the mountain plateau of Golsfjellet.  

WINTER: - 200 km prepaired tracks for x-country skiing just 100m from the chalet.

Storefjell Skisenter is open all weekends and holiday weeks. New lift starts only 250m from the chalet. Total 8 slopes downhill with various difficulties, and 2 challenging slopes for special steering sledges.

Golsfjellet Alpinsenter: The old Oset lift has been replaced by a new T-lift to the top of Ørterhøgda (2km from the chalet) with a special snowboard park Skikart

SUMMER: Excellent area for shorter and medium hikes, starting from the chalet. Close to the Tisleifjord with rental boats, good for trout fishing, swimming and other water activities.

Several marked bike routes on Golsfjellet, in Hemsedal and across the lake Tisleia in Valdres. Children's "Zoo" in på Oset, horseriding from Storefjell. Svimming pool in both hotels can be used against an entrance fee.

Distance from Gol about 18 km.

Chalet size: ca 65 sqm and consist of combined salon with ofen fire place, nice dinner table at the window facing south-east, Open kitschen solution with el. plates and ofen, refridgerator. Small bathroom w/ shover, 3 bedrooms ( 1 w/ doublebed and etage bed, 2 w/ etage beds ). Half open corridor to the store for fire wood and the toilet in a heated room.
